Safety Notice:

Rifles must be cased and left in vehicle until after the Safety Briefing. Do Not bring your firearms out until instructed to bring them to the firing line. No loaded firearms on the range unless on the firing line and load command has been given. Eye and ear protection required. No illegal firearms are allowed. Some ranges are .22 rimfire only. At ranges that allow centerfire no rifle cartridges over 8mm cal are allowed.

Directions:

From Newburgh, NY (NYS Thruway/I-87 Exit 17), travel south on US 9w/Quassaick Ave.  Continue south on 9w about 16 miles.  At the first traffic circle, take the third exit onto US-202 E/US-6 E.  Cross over the Hudson River on the Bear Mountain Bridge.  Continue on 202/6 about 4 miles.  At the traffic circle bear right to continue on 202/6 as it merges with US-9 S.  Bear right at the next intersection to stay on 9 S.  Continue about 5 miles and take the exit to Albany Post Rd./NY-9A.  Turn right onto 9A, then bear immediately right onto Old Albany Post Road, then bear right again onto Watch Hill Road.  Follow Watch Hill Road about 1.5 miles to the Blue Mountain Sportsman Center.

From Tarrytown, NY (NYS Thruway/I-87 Exit 9), best route to US-9 N/Broadway.  Continue to follow 9 north about 12 miles, then take the exit for NY 9A N/Albany Post Road.  Turn left onto 9A, then bear right onto Old Albany Post Road after .3 miles, then bear right onto Watch Hill Road.  Follow Watch Hill Road about 1.5 miles to the Blue Mountain Sportsman Center.

It is the responsibility of attendees to know and comply with all New York and Federal Firearms Laws.

Per NY state law, no one under the age of 12 may fire a gunpowder propellant rifle at these events.

Misc:

No loaded rifles on the range unless they are on the firing line and the “Load!” command has been given.  Eye and ear protection are required for all shooters.

These events are for rimfire rifles only.
